BIOGRAPHY

Ailin Yu was born in 1997 in Chengdu, China.
Growing up with an artistic soul, Ailin sees art as a manifesto of liberty and identity. She works with a variety of media whether traditional or digital.
Ailin demonstrates an almost obsessive attention to exquisite detail. Her visual language is characterized by vibrant colors and rich layers, revealing a particular fascination for decorative elements with distinctive textures. She is deeply drawn to portraying characters' portraits and accessories, believing that what one wears transcends mere adornment—it becomes an extension of personality and an annotation of the soul.
Her works often center around figures imbued with erotic and rebellious qualities. Through a modern ACG-inspired aesthetic blended with Gothic romance, she seeks to capture the varied expressions of characters in fetish-laden scenarios. For Ailin, this is not merely an aesthetic pursuit, but a declaration of independence—a Gen Z's defiant response to the pressures of contemporary society.
